Default Predictions League 2010/11 (Mark II)

New poll, this one public so I can list y'all.

If you want to play, choose yes.

If you don't want to play, why are you even reading this?!

Look who has come crawling back. Are you gonna stick around this time Weegie? Or are you gonna leave again? Because I don't know if I can deal with the rejection again. Life in a single-parent prediction league was difficult for me, and you were nowhere to be seen, but I perservered. I was there for the prediction league last season when it needed me the most. I might not be the best prediction league organiser, but at least I was there for it and organised it as well as I could. Now you think you can just waltz back in here and play happy families again? Well it just isn't that easy. I need to know I can trust you before I let you back into my life again, and that may take some time.

I just needed one final fling with the real world Darlo but I'm back in the land of the internet, if you'll have me. I know we can make this work. I did it alone, and you did it alone - imagine how amazing we can make this together! I know it was difficult for you and I'm really sorry, but I can already see that this has made you stronger. I mean, look, you're a moderator now! I did this f**king thing for years with not so much as a thank you, and you looked after it for a few months and got a promotion (not that I'm bitter).

But anyway, I'm back now, and we can do this the easy way, or we can do it the hard way.

The hard way involves a ball gag and no lube. You choose.

EDIT: and stop abusing your mod powers to edit the poll. You shoudl be ashamed of yourself. No wonder I left.....

don't you listen to him and his smooth talking ways darlo

sure, he promises you the world now, but what if another predictions league comes along? A newer, brighter predictions league from the internet or the papers? Will he stick around then? Will he? Or will he do one like he did before?

Sure, there are other predictions leagues out there, and I admit, they are younger, prettier and dare I say it, a bit firmer. But you can't put a price on history and experience. We all know what we get out of this, and we know we're satisfied. Temptation can be overcome with just a bit of will power, and together we can make sure this happens.

So shut your face.

I don't know how that happened. If you'd been around at the time, you'd have got into Mod Towers easily, but - shockingly - you weren't there.

Also, the hard way sounds fun.
