I used to go to Russell Scott Primary in Denton, they knocked that down for the motorway, though I think they built another somewhere else. People I went there with went to Egdy and Two Trees. I ended up at Ashton Grammar (now 6th form college I think). Small world!

Rings a bell.....so long ago!! Was Manor Green the Primary school on Manor Rd? Which secondary/grammar or whatever they are these days did you go to? When I was younger than you, me and my dad used to get the bus to Maine Rd from the Jolly Hatters in Denton, and I MEAN a bus, coaches hadn't been invented then, but the Hatters ran a "special" straight to the ground. Happy days!

Didn't realise I had?! Used to live centre Denton, then Manor Rd, then down Stockport Rd on Yew Tree estate. Are you on Mancunian Way then?
